Yikes That Was a Long time

Don't worry I didn't stop playing just really didn't do much at all lately. I have nearly finished in fact i hope to compete majora's mask today or tomorrow so expect like 2-4 post in the next day. Lets get back into this. Also for that sake of keeping these a bit shorter because I am lazy I omitted some photos of random stuff I did. kamaro mask bunny hood some other things

Ok time to help out those poor souls the Gorons. This time instead of being eaten by a dragon they have been cursed with a never ending cold spell and it's links job to help them out. To do this we need the lens of truth so voila here it is.

Lens of truth allows link to see the dead Goron hero. Dead Goron is dead so we take his soul/ powers. whatever he doesn't need them anymore.

Aw yeah Goron link is great looks bad ass too. Learning the song in order to get into snowfall not important at all

Here we go important stuff, snowfall temple entrance time to kick ass

You see a lot of wizrobe in this game he is one of their go to mini bosses just like the gekko

Once he is down and out we get the item from the dungeon. The fire arrows. Meh they have their uses but you need arrows and magic to use them sometimes you run out of one and get very very annoyed.

I don't remember how I did it but that doesn't make it any less impressive.

So getting on top of that chest was the highlight of the dungeon so I just skipped right to the boss because nothing else would have topped it.

And down he goes, god damn he is easy but he is still kinda fun. OK MORE TO COME

Nobody Likes Poison

Not much to look at but it is one of the temples that actually has an exterior other than the spirit temple most of the temple entrances in OOT were just caves.

Yes sir this place stinks but link can deal with that

Very interesting way of explaining things, tatl is not very nice.

Man could have saved a lot of time if link kept his last bow...

This guy is really common as a mini boss in majora's mask but not in any other one i can think of.

This guy is HUGE like 4-5 times taller than you are and he has quite a few moves to kick your ass with.

Fuck yeah 1 arrow left. Anyway he does hit you a lot but his attacks usually only do 1/4 heart so he is not that bad.

Interesting scene after you beat the dungeon you have to rescue the princess. Cue the bottle

She is not someone you want to get angry. Holy shit she is like 14 yet every plant in the kingdom fears her more than anything else.

Woot first try too and i didn't have the bunny hood, I remember having to do this a lot when i was younger. Maybe I am getting better as i get older.

Is This a Monkey or a Ukeke?

So we are a kid now time to start doing what this game is all about. Collecting masks!!! second one after the deku one has a really bad small picture, looks like a bloated gerudo.

After catching theses guys again  ( I forgot the password) they give me their club notebook because i am no longer a deku.

The banker is this game is psychic or something he can tell who you are even if you travel back in time till before you met him. Its quite queer.

Alright we are flying bremen mask lets you pump out a cool tune and small animals will follow you around while you march.

This was just amazing. The game is you have to stop the clock at 10 seconds exactly with no visual cues anyway i got it in my head 2nd try it was amazing.

This is an awesome mask because i am lazy and never get bombs after I travel back in time so this saves my ass all the time

Oh right you had to save an old lady to get the bomb mask and if you did she completes her return to the bomb shop and now you can buy this: the big bomb bag.

Cool looking place i don't really know why the large purple mountain is there in the middle of a swamp but it looks cool.

Hey I know this hag, where is your twin hag sister?

Found her, man i told you she was a hag. She even calls herself a hag. Well it seems like they are less evil in this game, in fact you get your first bottle after saving this one.

Alright after saving the witch we head to the deku palace. Instead of walking in I decided to sneak around and fly in.

Turns out to be a good idea the roundabout way leads into a jail cell with this monkey. He lets us know where the princess is and teaches us the sonata of awakening which is used to show the location of the woodfall temple.

Oh no the damn owl again and he remembers my nickname from the last game. Luckily they made it so if you rush through his talking you will choose the answer that doesn't make him repeat himself.

All set for the woodfall temple now, this song allows for quick travel between owl statues quite handy. Alright next episode the woodfall temple.

Watch Out For Strangers

OK here we go again. This guy is a jerk and we are going to see a lot of him. First off he starts by stealing links orcarina and his horse somewhere in the lost woods.

He then loses my horse and link falls down a giant hole. This guy is not making a good impression.

Oh yeah this is great now he turns link into a deku shrub. At least we get one of his fairies. Actually wait never mind screw the fairy i want to be a real boy again, damn you skull kid.

Alright now the game begins and we get the worst item ever. I never use these things i hate them.

Once we get out of the tunnel area we are in some weird building and this guy is just chilling in there. He pretty much asks you to get your orcarina back and his mask back and he will help you out.

So we set out into the new world of Termina, which is supposed to be a alternate dimension of hyrule. This is the reason why everybody looks the same even the stupid great faeries.

So the faerie give link magic power which allows the use of bubbles which are really handy.

So i immediately go outside and shoot down this faerie. I have never liked tingle and I don't think anything will change my mind he is awful.

Next thing to do was to gain the bombers (gang of kids that do good deeds) trust. After bursting the leaders bubble and then finding them all in a game of hide and seek I am off to the astral observatory. Password 43152

Oh right i should mention if you don't already know, there is always a clock running in majora's mask. You only have 72 hours to do what you want before the moon crashes down and kills everyone. There is a way to prevent that coming up. Anyway astral observatory awesome colors, gets you the moon tear which is all we need to get to the clock tower.

On the final day at midnight the door opens and link is allowed to the top of the clock tower to battle the skull kid. It is not much of a battle you just hit him once with a bubble and he will drop the orcarina.

Which we immediately run and grab. This is the tool we need to return to the start and not get crushed by the moon. By playing the song of time the 72 hours are reset and you can go about you business.

Alright I'm a real boy again eat that Pinocchio. Happy mask salesman curse me of being a shrub with the song of healing and i get the deku mask so i can be a shrub whenever I want. Too bad for the mask salesman though he was pretty pissed when I didn't get his mask back.

Black Sheep

You ever get that feeling after you have done something amazing that maybe you will never make it there again? That maybe that was your magnum opus and that everything related to that henceforth will be compared to it and regarded as inferior? Well welcome to Shiegeru Miyamoto and all the other designers on the Majora's mask team's life. Not only did they follow the smash hit Orcarina of Time but they did it on the same system and in about 2 years. You will notice right away that this game is a lot like Orcarina of Time, link looks the same and your controls feel very similar it almost feels like an expansion. Even though a lot of the character models are the same, none of the termanians (people from termina)are exactly like their hyrulian counterpart, except for the happy mask salesman but that is because he is from hyrule. What I am trying to say here is that this game is NOT Orcarina of Time nor is it trying to be and to compare them is a little unfair. Judge Majora's mask on it's own merit as a game and you will see just how great it is.

This one is simple guys we have been told directly this game is a sequel to Orcarina of time. Period no argument doesn't get any simpler than that. Thats it here we go see you guys in the next post weeeeeeeeee.

Another One Bites the Dust

Left off just after the spirit temple. I didn't want to bother with any of the gerudo horseback archery or dungeon for the ice arrows headed strait to the temple of time and met up with Sheik.

She explains what happened when ganondorf tried to take the triforce and how 3 people now have a piece of the triforce link or latent as my name was this game is the holder of the triforce of courage

Another huge spoiler if you haven't played before sheik is princess Zelda and she is the final sage and the holder of the triforce of wisdom. Ganondorf being the holder of the final piece the triforce of power.

 After all her explaining she is encased in a crystal and carted away by ganondorf (this is in reference to a link to the past I would imagine). Before she is hauled away she does give us the light arrows (missed the picture). Anyway afterward we head out to conquer ganon's tower I chose the shadow wing first due to the golden gauntlets being located here.

 And there they are, really only get used about 3 times but they are ****ing sweet you feel like a badass when link chucks the giant rock over his head.

One of the uses of the golden gloves is to get into is this fairy fountain which in essence doubles your life by causing damage done to you to be halved.

Every medallion you have (6) has a mini dungeon you have to complete in order to gain access to ganondorf's final lair. This is a picture of what the doorways look like each having their respective emblem above them.

Beat all the mini dungeons climb the tower fight fearlessly and you reach your destination Ganondorf's throne room? Or opera theater I don't know. Anyway he was expecting you of course and he engages link in a battle for the triforce.

After throwing everything he can at you and you hitting it right back at him he will succumb to pain and die....

Well because he is the king of darkness instead of dying nicely he tries to kill link and Zelda by blowing up the tower and taking us with it. Luckily we escape and watch the remain of the tower to come crashing down.

Yeah when I said he was dead, might have been a bit preemptive. This guy is one mean green evil pig like machine (I don't think he is a machine it's just a saying). Anyway he also knocks away the master sword thankfully I have the beautiful biggoron sword so no problem

Kokri sword and shield to get started on your journey - 40 rupees
Goron Tunic and Zora's Tunic to complete the temples - 400 rupees
Finally getting to stab your sword enemy in the face and seal him in the dark realm - Priceless.

Picture says it all. After this Zelda uses the orcarina to send link back in time so that he can live his childhood.

WOOT the final scene in the game. Link approaches Zelda, we assume he is there to tell her about ganondorf and what his plans are so that he can be stopped before any of the event of this game take place. Alright good stuff best game of the series there but onwards we go next stop Majora's Mask.
